My first month with WidgetBucks has been great. I had their ads on 3 of my sites which made around 400$ for me in 20 days as I joined them on 10th October. So the average earning/day has been around 20$ and the rate per click’s average has been 0.30$/click.
Ad Units
The best ad unit for me has been 160×600 with a click rate close to 1%. 300×250 also started well but could not maintain it and its average click rate has been around 0.50%. 728×90 has been fine with a click rate close to 0.70%. 468×60 has been the worst in all with a click rate less than 0.10%.
Ad Categories
I have tried many ad categories there but not all of them worked for me. The one category which brought good results on all of my sites was Cellular Phones. It has not been the best category if you talk about Rate Per Click but has been great for my sites when it comes to click-rate and becuase of that good click-rate I earned most most of my money with it. The best paying category (Rate Per Click) for me has been Flat Panel Televisions. It got me maximum of 0.72$ and an average of 0.63$/click but as I don’t get many clicks on those ads so it has not been that good.
Overall, WidgetBucks has been great, for me ATLEAST :P Now I am waiting for them to post Referral Stats so that I can have an idea about my total earnings for October :D
Most of the Site Owners are using WidgetBucks now but if you are not one of them, don’t think more and give it a try NOW.
