Google Wave seems to be among hottest trend these days on internet. It had been in talks for months now but 100,000 invitations that Google has recently sent to different people has made it top the trending topics in twitter. Before I guide you about getting an invitation let me tell you that what Google Wave actually is.
It is a personal communication and collaboration tool that was announced by Google at the Google I/O conference in May this year. It is designed to merge email, instant messaging, wiki and social networking together. It is supported by many extensions that would offer its users much real-time assistance, these extensions include spelling/grammar checker, automated translation between 40 languages and many others.
Now those who are interested in trying this much anticipated service by Google can try doing following things to get an invite
- Ask Google for it by going to this link but I am not sure about the time that Google will take in sending you that invitation
- Follow #GoogleWave, #GoogleWaveInvite and other emerging Google Wave Hashtags to see if there is anyone on Twitter who can send you an invite
