Yeah, WidgetBucks finally fucks the non-us publishers. How ? They wont be paying for Non-US/Canada clicks anymore. For now I just wanted to update people about it, will write more about it within a day.

I have been one of the lucky publishers to see the Referral Earnings of WidgetBucks. Lucky – Because most of the publishers have been banned by WidgetBucks before posting those referral stats. Many of people who used my referrer also got banned but still I have managed to make around 100$ with my referrals which is pretty good. I have referred around 30 people – all through this one month old blog ‘xubair.com’ which I started to post my personal  stuff but saw many people at digitalpoint forums making blogs on seo tips, make money online, etc which inspired me too to write abouth this stuff aswell. By adding these 100$ of referrals now my total earnings for october are over 500$, so widgetbucks has been quite good for me but I am not expecting it to perform this good in future. The reason behind this is that they’ve decreased the rate per click and nowadays I am making around 30% of what I have made last month with the same number of clicks. But still its not that bad. So CHILL !!

Have you ever noticed that when you buy a laptop, the battery life time will be around 4 hours, then after three to four months the battery life will be 2 hours, and after using the laptop for two hours you have to recharge your battery. Here is a way to increase your battery life.

When you first unbox your new laptop, the first place it belongs (after installing the battery) is connected to an AC outlet.  Even if the battery indicator shows a full or near full charge, it is a good idea to keep the unit plugged in for a minimum of 5-7 hours.  After this initial and absolute full charge, unplug it and have your way with it!  Drain that battery until you “force it to shut down” (save your work upon the low battery alert).  Then proceed to charge it up again to 100% (this time just charge it to “full”).  Go ahead and repeat the drain to zero. After 3 full charge and discharge cycles, your battery is ready for the road.

This process does 2 things.  First off, it breaks in your new battery right.  Second it calibrates it with your computer to give you a more accurate measurement of charge status from the software’s indicator. Over time your battery will slip away from calibration, so it is suggested that you repeat one “full charge” and “discharge” every 3 months.

Also I want to prefer that don’t plug-in while using the laptop if the battery is charged.

My first month with WidgetBucks has been great. I had their ads on 3 of my sites which made around 400$ for me in 20 days as I joined them on 10th October. So the average earning/day has been around 20$ and the rate per click’s average has been 0.30$/click.

Ad Units
The best ad unit for me has been 160×600 with a click rate close to 1%. 300×250 also started well but could not maintain it and its average click rate has been around 0.50%. 728×90 has been fine with a click rate close to 0.70%. 468×60 has been the worst in all with a click rate less than 0.10%.

Ad Categories
I have tried many ad categories there but not all of them worked for me. The one category which brought good results on all of my sites was Cellular Phones. It has not been the best category if you talk about Rate Per Click but has been great for my sites when it comes to click-rate and becuase of that good click-rate I earned most most of my money with it. The best paying category (Rate Per Click) for me has been Flat Panel Televisions. It got me maximum of 0.72$ and an average of  0.63$/click but as I don’t get many clicks on those ads so it has not been that good.

Overall, WidgetBucks has been great, for me ATLEAST :P Now I am waiting for them to post Referral Stats so that I can have an idea about my total earnings for October :D

Most of the Site Owners are using WidgetBucks now but if you are not one of them, don’t think more and give it a try NOW.

I started using WidgetBucks around 7 days back and so far its been so good. I have made around 140$ in 7 days averaging at 20$/day which is not bad at all. I have replaced CPX Ads by WidgetBucks – with CPX I was making around 5$/day – WidgetBucks is making at least 15$/day and the best day with it brought 30$ so I am quite happy with the results. I would not advise you to replace Google Ads with WidgetBucks but do try to put it somewhere in your site. It would bring some extra money for you.
P.S – I am earning at an average of 0.27$/click.
