LG joins the Android Party, announces LG GW620 Smartphone

The rumors of LG launching an Android Phone were true. LG has officially announced that it would be launching LG GW620, its first Android Smartphone in the fourth quarter of this year.

The company has not announced the full specifications yet but some of the features that are mentioned in their press release are as follow:

• 3 inch Touchscreen Display
• Slide-out QWERTY Keypad
• 5 megapixel camera
• Bluetooth
• WiFi
• 3G

There is no official word on price yet but we can expect more details and the price being announced in near future as the smartphone is set to be available in selected European markets in fourth quarter of this year.
