How to Tag Friends in Status Updates and Posts at Facebook

Facebook has rolled out a new feature yesterday that allows you people y0u are friends with, pages you are fan of, groups you are part of, events you have been invited to and applications you use in your status updates and posts. It is very easy-to-use feature but some users still might face problems in it so here is a guide on how to use it.

1 – Type ‘@’ in you status update or post.

2 – Start typing the name of a friend, page or whatever after that ‘@’ symbol.

3 – You’ll see a list dropping down, click to select what you were looking for from that list to tag.

4 – That’s it. This is what would appear in your status update box after selecting something.

Yeah one more thing, if you are tagging your friend in your status update, Facebook automatically would send a notification with a link to your update/post. Enjoy @tagging ;)
