Earlier today, Techcrunch and Mashable reported the launch of Facebook Lite for user in U.S and India only. But it seems to work in most parts of the world. Today while browsing facebook, I tried to log on to Facebook Lite link and it worked for me that meant that it works in Saudi Arabia (that is where I am living these days). Now that made me ask some of my friends to try if this Facebook Lite is working for them and all of them unexpectedly reported yes. These friends were located in Pakistan, Canada, England, France and Norway. Now all those evidences make me beleive that it is available for the masses around the world.
These are the screenshots of new Facebook Lite, the left one is the login screen which says that you must have a facebook account to try public preview of Facebook Lite and the left on is the homepage of Facebook Lite which shows you almost all the updates that are shown in the regular Facebook but in a light manner.
